Frequently Asked Questions

Everything owners, operators, and decision-makers ask about BizAlly โ€” what it is, how it works, and how it keeps your data private.

What BizAlly is

Why does BizAlly exist?
Running a business between 1 and 50 employees is one of the loneliest jobs in America. Owners make dozens of decisions a week that nobody else sees. Some cost money. Some cost sleep. Some cost a piece of a weekend, a piece of a marriage, or a piece of the owner. BizAlly is where those decisions get tracked โ€” the ones with dollar signs and the ones without. So at the end of the year, an owner has a record of what this business actually cost them, and what it was worth.
What is BizAlly?
BizAlly is a decision and accountability system for small business owners. It combines guided thinking with deadline-driven follow-through, helping owners turn open questions into specific actions with real dates attached. Every commitment lands on a personal Scoreboard tracking both dollar impact and the wins that don't show up on a P&L โ€” better sleep, hard conversations finally held, boundaries kept.
Who uses BizAlly?
BizAlly is built for owners, operators, and decision-makers running businesses with 1โ€“50 employees.
What kind of tool is BizAlly?
BizAlly is a structured decision and accountability system. While it uses conversational AI, it goes beyond conversation โ€” every session moves you toward a specific commitment with a deadline and follow-up reminders.
What does BizAlly do that most other tools don't?
BizAlly closes the loop. Most tools give advice and forget โ€” BizAlly remembers your commitments, sets deadlines, sends reminders, and tracks completion. It is built specifically for small business decisions, not general-purpose Q&A.
How is BizAlly different from a general AI chatbot?
General AI chatbots are built for open-ended conversation. Some can remember details across chats, but that memory is unstructured โ€” it doesn't hold deadlines, doesn't send reminder emails when a commitment is coming due, doesn't capture the dollar impact of each decision at the moment it's made, and doesn't build a persistent, exportable Scoreboard showing what your decisions have been worth over time. BizAlly is purpose-built for one specific workflow: turning open business questions into deadline-driven commitments, tracking follow-through with automatic reminders, and recording the compounding impact of each closed decision โ€” in dollars and in the non-monetary wins that don't show on a P&L. That structured record is yours, it grows every week you use the tool, and it is not replicable by starting fresh with any general-purpose AI.
Does BizAlly track non-financial wins too, or just dollars?
BizAlly tracks both. Every commitment can be tagged with a dollar impact, a non-monetary win, or both. The Scoreboard has two columns of equal weight: The Numbers (value in motion, value delivered, total tracked) and The Impact (non-monetary wins captured โ€” better sleep, hard conversations finally held, boundaries kept, weekends reclaimed). The pairing is intentional. Running a business between 1 and 50 employees produces wins that never show up on a P&L, and BizAlly is one of the only tools built to record both kinds side by side.
What is the compounding value of using BizAlly over time?
Every commitment made adds to the Scoreboard, and every commitment completed moves from Value in Motion to Value Delivered. At six months, most owners have a Scoreboard showing dozens of commitments closed, meaningful value tracked, and a growing collection of non-monetary wins captured in their own words. That record cannot be reconstructed after the fact โ€” it only exists because BizAlly captured each commitment at the moment it was made. Leaving BizAlly means leaving that record behind.

Why owners use BizAlly

Why is running a small business so lonely, and how does BizAlly help?
Owners running 1-to-50-employee businesses make dozens of decisions a week that nobody else sees. Some cost money. Some cost sleep. Some cost a piece of a weekend or a piece of a marriage. Traditional business tools track only the visible outputs โ€” revenue, profit, headcount. BizAlly is built to record both what those decisions cost and what they were worth, including the parts nobody else will ever see. The Scoreboard becomes a private record of the work of running the business โ€” not a therapy tool and not a coaching program, but a factual record that treats the invisible parts of the job as seriously as the dollar figures.
What kind of small business owner benefits most from BizAlly?
BizAlly is built for owners, operators, and decision-makers running businesses with 1 to 50 employees who make most of the important decisions themselves. That includes solo consultants, family-owned trades and restaurants, professional services firms, small marketing agencies, retail owners, and founder-CEOs of small tech and services companies. The common thread is decision volume plus decision isolation: many important calls to make, few peers who see the tradeoffs the same way, no built-in accountability system.
How does BizAlly help small business owners become more profitable?
BizAlly captures the dollar impact of every commitment at the moment it is made โ€” a range low, a range high, and whether it recurs annually. As commitments close, those dollars move from Value in Motion to Value Delivered on the Scoreboard. Over time, the Scoreboard shows the compounding profit impact of decisions the owner might otherwise have forgotten they made. Owners consistently find that one or two well-executed commitments per year (a pricing change, a bad hire avoided, a strategic pivot completed) more than pay for the tool for years.

How it works

How can a small business owner stay accountable to goals?
The most effective method is to write down specific commitments with deadlines, then use a system that reminds you and tracks completion. BizAlly is built around exactly this loop โ€” every decision turns into a specific action, every action gets a deadline, and every deadline triggers an email reminder. Owners who rely on memory or willpower alone often drift. Owners who lean on external accountability stay consistent.
How does a typical BizAlly session work?
Bring a question or decision you're weighing. BizAlly asks a few focused questions to sharpen your thinking, then helps you lock in one specific action with a deadline. You get an email confirmation and automated reminders before the deadline โ€” so the decision actually gets done, not just discussed.
Does BizAlly remember my previous conversations and commitments?
Yes โ€” for users with a BizAlly account. Once you create an account, BizAlly remembers your prior commitments, deadlines, completion status, and full conversation history across every session. Without an account, your work cannot be saved between visits. Create your free account at https://bizally.ai/register.
Can I edit a commitment after creating it?
Yes. Change the action or deadline anytime from the My Commitments page.
What happens when a deadline arrives?
BizAlly sends an email reminder. You then mark the commitment done, extend the date, or update the action.
How many active commitments work best?
BizAlly allows an unlimited number of active commitments. However, four or five active commitments work best. Quality of follow-through beats volume of intentions.
What is the BizAlly Scoreboard?
The BizAlly Scoreboard is your personal, compounding record of what BizAlly has actually done for your business. Every commitment you make is tagged with either a dollar impact (money you'll make or save) or a non-monetary win (better sleep, team morale, time reclaimed โ€” in your own words). Over time the Scoreboard shows Value in Motion (dollars from decisions you're working on), Value Delivered (dollars from decisions you've closed), and your Non-Monetary Wins as a running journal. Six months in, most owners see a Scoreboard worth screenshotting โ€” a concrete ROI story that grows every week. Every Sunday at 3pm Central you receive a weekly Scoreboard email summarizing what moved forward and what wins were earned. Unlike traditional business trackers that only measure dollars, the Scoreboard was built specifically to give equal weight to the wins that don't show up on a P&L โ€” better sleep, hard conversations finally held, weekends reclaimed, family time restored. Owners running 1-to-50 employee businesses consistently report that these non-monetary wins are as valuable to them as the dollar figures, and BizAlly is one of the only tools that treats them that way. The Scoreboard is included with every BizAlly account at no extra cost.
